There are a lot of people that decide to see the ballet for the first time each and everyday. Of course, ballet is far from a new phenomenon, but many people, for one reason or another, do not get around to seeing a performance. However, after you have been once, the chances are that you will make the decision to see several more!
If you have made the decision to take in a ballet, then you will want to make Cinderella your first. The story is amazing when you see it in the form of a ballet. However, the story is the same as the childhood story that you learned years ago. But for those of you that do not know the story, let me explain a little bit. It will make the ballet more enjoyable when you go to see it and it will also build the anticipation.
Cinderella is the main character and she is treated very poorly by her step family. She is their maid most of the time and she is not really allowed to do anything that she enjoys. Then, she has an opportunity to attend the ball with her step-sisters and the prince will be there. When she goes he sees her and falls in love with her just from looking at her. The problem starts when it turns midnight and she must leave in a hurry. At that time she leaves behind one of her glass slippers. This is how the prince decides to find her.
He then begins his search for the beautiful woman that he fell in love with at the ball. He spends a great deal of time trying to find out who fits into the glass slipper that he found. When he finally finds Cinderella, they fall in love and they live happily ever after. It really is just like the book you read as a child and the story you have heard for years. However, it looks much better when you see it in dance.
If you have small children and you want them to experience the ballet then you will want to strongly consider finding tickets to the Cinderella ballet. You could even let them watch the movie, or read the book before they go and see it. This will help them learn about what they will see. It might also get them very excited for their experience.
